1 xTex products
The xTex product portfolio comprises

2 Hardware
2.1 Setup
xTex A4: Installation and commissioning is done by the client. Setting up the A4 scanner is very simple and does not require any special technical skill set. Initial setup and calibration should not take more than 30 minutes.

xTex A2: Set up by the clients with online guidance of one of our hardware experts. Average time spent: 4 – 8 hours.

2.2 Warranty
The hardware has a standard 12 months warranty. Moreover, there is a paid option to extend the warranty by another 12 or 24 months.

2.4 Hardware handling
There are no special requirements in terms of humidity, temperature etc. than for other scanners or printers. Just run xTex in your normal office environment.
However, please handle the hardware with care. Here are a few instructions.
2.5 Calibration & Color accuracy
Calibration is done with an xRite color chart. See the procedure in this video.
When your xRite chart is damaged you can order a new one in our shop here (login required).
2.6 CE conformity
These documents declare the CE conformity of A4 and A2 hardware.

2 – 3 weeks for A4 scanners
6 – 8 weeks for A2 scanners
* shipment times to client locations do vary a lot and cannot be estimated.
We charge for delivery. Shipment takes place to the clients office location in INCOTERMS CIP or INCOTERMS DAP. The process is as follows:
- We prepare all document for the export (German customs)
- We prepare all required documents for the import (e.g. invoice, delivery note, packing list, certificate of origin) and send them to the client for approval.
- Device will be sent via our logistics service provider to – here: [country]
- [country] customs will check the device
- [country] customs might contact clients to clarify questions about the device. The client takes the responsibility for the import of his purchase.
- Client might need to pay import fees (dependent on [country])
- Client is responsible for import sales tax (dependent on [country])
- Once customs releases the shipment the device will be forwarded to the clients address (for CIP shipment the client has to care for pickup at destination airport)

3 Software
3.1 System requirements
The xTex software runs on a PC or Laptop (Windows only).

3.2 Service contract *
Subscription: In 2023 we moved to software subscription plans. The subscription contract is valid for 12 months and comprises software usage, updates minimum one release per year, online support and access to our customer portal (knowledge base with tutorials, courses and announcements).

3.3 EULA

3.4 Licenses
3.4.1 Floating License
Vizoo xTex licenses are floating license. Depending on how many xTex Floating Licenses you purchased, the same number of users will be able to use the xTex Software simultaniously.
3.4.2 Offline License
Licenses can be activated offline on request. Licensing happens on a user basis. When activating the xTex Software it will be bound to the system it has been activated on.
4 Training
Every xTex purchase will receive a 1 hour introduction session.
In addition Vizoo as well as most of our distribution partners do offer beginners and advanced trainings (online and if possible on-site). Reach out to your sales rep for pricing and availability.
5 Payment *
